Warmth, blue skies and a peaceful day.

Eula & I went to Tomato Lake for a picnic lunch. Tomato Lake is an oasis in the the middle of suburbia, about a 20 minute drive from our home .

Last night I marinated Lamb Chops and barbecued them just before departing to the lake.

Marinade very simple

Soya Sauce

Grated Ginger

Grated Garlic

Lemon Juice

As some may be aware, I care for a group of 5 disabled people and quite often take them for a stroll around the lake and on occasions have sent Eula a photo taken on my mobile to make her jealous. Hahaha

She complained and said “can you take me”, so off we went.

It was funny, a black swan wandered over while we were eating and started pecking Eula’s toes, I think it was attracted to her nail polish. 

After lunch we went for a walk around the lake, had a coffee, then laid down under a tree for a while.
